This is the website for the creation of the Youth Summary Publication of the United Nations Human Development Report on Climate Change.

Peace Child International has been charged with the task of creating a booklet that converts the complex ideas, and dense prose of the Human Development Report into a format that is exciting, vibrant and accessible to young people around the world.

In that light Aoife the Peace Child Editor and Oliver the Publications Manager, have assembled a Youth Editorial Team extracted from the hundreds of members of the Project Task Force Team around the world. This includes Vikisha from Australia, Dana from the Czech Republic, Charles from Uganda and Nafiz from Bangladesh. Along with all the regular Peace Child Interns (Adam, Chloé, Dorothy, Emma, Matthias, Natalia, Sofia, Tanya, Virginie) this is a formidable and widely representative team from around the globe.

This website will allow young people from all corners of the world to keep up to date with our progress on a daily basis as we tackle all the major issues relating to climate change relating to human development. As well as charting our progress and following the evolution of the booklet, from rough draft to finished article, people will be able to help shape the booklet by adding suggestions and constructive criticism to the draft spreads that we hope to post each day.

So the challenge is to log on and help us with ideas, suggestions and alternative contributions each day, or help us in this truly global effort to bring the most important challenge of our, or any other generation to the young people of the world.
